This week I have hand selected a variety of music genres to get you moving and in the zone so you can show your professor, coworker, boss, mom–whoever, who’s really in control. Just click the play button at the bottom of this post to hear the playlist in full, or check out each track individually.

Muddy Waters – Worried Mined

This week I thought I’d bring back a classic, McKinley Morganfield, also known as Muddy Waters, was an American blues musician, and a major inspiration for the British blues explosion of the 1960s. Why? because sometimes nothing suits the mood of the day like some classic blues guitar strumming.

Glass Animals – Pools

With their first album, Zaba, freshly realized in June of 2014 it is clear that Glass Animals has one heck of a career in front of them. Pools offers a feel good indie vibe, and if you are feeling it as much as I am you can listen and purchase the new album here .

L UD O – Boy

If you are enjoying L UD O’s somber tune reverb drenched tune, fear not you can find more of her music on her bandcamp for listening and to purchase! “Operating under the L UD O nom de plume, this Brighton based producer & singer/songwriter sees herself not as a painstakingly musical craftswoman but as a symbol of unabashed, unconventional creativity” (via L UD O soundcloud). So far, I’d have to agree!

M83 – Moonchild

This French electronic rock band from Antibes, France was formed in 2001 by Anthony Gonzalez and Nicolas Fromageau. The name M83 was taken from Messier 83, one of the brightest galaxies in our sky. And after listening to this spacey electric song, it is no wonder why they are named after this.

Of Monsters And Men – Yellow Light (Cillo Remix)

Indie folk single, Yellow Light, comes with a twist in this Cillo remix. With only one album released in 2012, when will we hear more from this band? Thank the music gods for remixes. Hey Of Monsters and Men, we want more!

Working with Chelsie Bourg (now Gros!) on her wedding invitations and website was a dream, not just because she is one of my best friends, but also because she is one of the kindest people I know and she's not afraid of fun design! We worked with her to create a look that would make her wedding stand out and reflect the bright and wonderful person she is while still matching her rustic floral wedding decor!

Associated Pump & Supply sells and rents pumps and other dewatering equipment. It is a flourishing, family owned business that has been in Houma, Louisiana for many years. Associated Pump was in need of an updated website that not only showcased their services, but also showed visitors all the equipment they had to offer. We were able to come up with a solution that was more corporate and modern, and easy for visitors to navigate. Check them out at

Lafourche ARC continues to do so much for those in our community with developmental disabilities. Everyday they work to better the lives of so many people, but their web presence was not a reflection of the work that they did and continue to do. Together with the W.L. Gaiennie Company we worked to create a new brand and website that showed all the positive work done by the ARC. We used a mix of impactful imagery with fun bright colors and a more serious, corporate design elements to set the tone for the important work that they do. The new site will be up soon at
